The Nicholas A. Farley Charitable Fund Inc. was formed by the family of the late Nicholas A. Farley. The Nicholas A. Farley Charitable Fund Inc. has been approved to be a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit charity (Tax ID#26-2121647).

MISSION STATEMENT

The Nicholas A Farley Charitable Fund Inc. was formed by Nick’s immediate family. The purpose of this charitable corporation is to both promote and support education

through scholarships for students attending various educational institutions and through financial donations to institutions for the acquisitions of assistive technology and materials for students with dyslexia and similar learning differences.

The corporation intends to provide financial assistance, through scholarships and grants, to students attending the Carroll School, a private school for students in grades 1-8, who suffer from dyslexia. The corporation also intends to provide learning aids and materials or funding to acquire such learning aids and materials to assist schools in educating students with dyslexia. Finally, the corporation intends to offer a scholarship (or scholarships) for students attending various educational institutions. All disbursements, whether for financial support to attend the Carroll School, for the acquisitions or educational aids for schools, or for scholarships for students attending various educational institutions- will be made through approval of the Board of Directors according to the valid vote or the board. Most (but not all) disbursements will be made to individuals and schools in the greater- Boston and South Shore Areas of Massachusetts, most notably the greater Easton area. The corporation intends to devote 100% of its time to fund raising and distribution of funds to further its exempt purpose: to provide charitable support to further the education of individuals.
